Find out how to get the most out of your digital SLR or compact camera in this fun and exciting 6 week digital photography course. With no more than 12 people in a group you will learn from an experienced tutor how to:
  • Confidently use your camera modes and menus
  • Compose and frame an image to gain maximum impact
  • Understand the principles of and practical tips on how to use aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, exposure and depth of field.
  • Use these principals to take successful photos in different lighting situations
  • Produce a range of effects in your photo such as blurring and sharpness

We will also look at a range of photographers to explore the techniques they used to achieve different effects.

Small tasks will be set between classes for those who are keen to embed their technical knowledge and practice their new photography skills
